What should I major in in college for a career in marketing, public relations?

Like what is the name of the actual course or like degree?? Not really sure I'm supposed to meet with a counselor but I want some idea of the name of the degree or whatever it's called? What I'd like for a career is like marketing or advertising or public relations-- what degree should I focus on? Thank you.

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

Communications, most likely. You can also usually get a specific degree in PR or marketing, but communications covers that, and I think it's better to get a degree that will cover a lot of bases as opposed to one that' really specific.

Answer 2

You don't need a degree for that field. If you have extra money lying around get a marketing degree.

Answer 3

Check out ( http://www.salesandmarketingehlp.com ) If you like what you read, marketing may be right for you.

Answer 4

You'll need to enroll in the communications program or the marketing program and see if you can take classes that specially concentrate / focus on public relations.
