What is the best USA university that offers and intense writing degree?

This program should have published authors as professors. A wide array of writing classes and specific writing degrees. It should allow the student to have published before graduation. Really appreciate this information. 10 points for the best answer.

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

I'm not sure any university offers a degree in "intense writing," though such a program would no doubt be pretty interesting. Many universities offer solid English programs with well-published authors where a student's opportunity for publication is limited only by the student's own ambition. I mean, seriously, there are hundreds if not thousands of options for you to choose from, from the Ivy League schools on down.

Answer 2

Stephen King and a lot of hollywood writers say you don't need a degree to be a write. Every elite school should have a good writing program. They all have writing labs.

Answer 3

Definitely Stanford I'd say. Or Yale.
