What are some good creative writing careers?

I know that people can write novels or screenplays but what are some other careers where I could get paid to create / write my own stories / plots? I don't want to work with non-fiction. Thnx.

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

Magazines -- electronic and print -- not only accepts non-fiction, but some of them also accept fiction stories. Just search for them and check their guidelines to see if they accept fiction. You should also study a few back issues to get an idea of the writing styles they buy. In addition to searching for magazines that pay for fiction stories, you could also pitch your story ideas to blogs and websites that publish fiction. When searching for markets that pay for fiction, try the following terms (leave the quotes around the keyword phrases): "paying fiction markets" "fiction magazines" "fiction ezines" "fiction blogs"
