Im just exploring majors and i came across public relations and it seemed something i would be interested in doing but im still not sure if i would be satisfied with it. Also, what career can i obtain with public relations?

Well frist do not make how the economy is going what is dependent on what you choose as a major. What if you hate something but you picked it cause you though you were for sure gonna get a job in that field. The economy sucks period. For everybody so it dosen't matter what you major in. There is still a chance that you won't get a job. With that being said PR is a rather competive field. It depends on what kind of PR you wanna do. Non-profit, Fashion, Government, Education, etc. There are many types to go into. Next some jobs that you can go into with a PR degree would be media consulting. Consulting with company's about their image and how they can use soical media websites to take their company to the next level. Companies pay ALOT of money for a consultant. Next if your into politics at all then a lobbyist might be something to think about. Plus you will end up make 6 figures lol. All these jobs take hard work so if you have it in you go for it. But any job you wanna do will take the same. It's just certain areas in PR that I would say are harder to get into then others. Good luck!
