I am 25 years old with a B.A. in English and an M.A. in journalism. The journalism field appears to be in crisis mode before I can even enter the work force. Should I stick it out to fulfill my first love of writing? I been looking to go into Technical writing, grant-writing, copy writing, or change career tracks from writing to computer programming. Is that option feasible at this point?
Thanks!

It's never too late to pursue anything your heart desires. Answer 2
Ink and paper journalism is dead, but I think if you write well you shouldn't have a lot of trouble getting a job writing for a website.
Programming is a hell of a lot of work, excuse my language, so you better believe this will be a brutal change of pace if you still want to go through with it. Answer 3
hi there technical writing is not in the crisis for m\now..the technical field is always on the high so try applying to journals like, digit , pcexpress etc if u r good in computer and so on..so writing is a good field to survive ..my best wishes.. << GO BACK to questions
