I have a talent in writing. What careers could I pursue that could get me a decent living?

I've always been very good at writing, particularly stories and poems, but it can extend to essays and nonfiction and pretty much anything. What careers can I pursue where I can put my writing talent to an effective use while receiving a good pay?

I suggest that you take an aptitude test. An aptitude test assesses your skills and your interests and matches you to the careers that are right for you. Check with the high school adviser for one or your college/university (they have some awesome tests). Or, failing those, go to the workforce development agency (unemployment office) Beware of the internet scams. Once you take the test it will help identify careers that take little education clear up to a doctorate. Hope this helps.
