All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

work for you city/town newspaper

Answer 2

You can't really quick start anything. You have to start at the bottom and work your way up. Depending on what you are interested in (Production, Writing, Broadcast etc.) I would get an internship while in school and see what you like best.

Answer 3

You should build your own website and do your own daily news videos. You could also pull in RSS feeds from your favorite news organizations for display of current events on your site. You be the anchor person for your own online news agency. That will give get you noticed. Especially if you also do some of your own original news stories.

Answer 4

College

Answer 5

Do a search on Amazon.com for a book called Writer's Market. Then start free-lancing, and get your name widely known. Read some biographies of famous journalists and find what their life was like and how they started. Don't worry about the pay as much as how much you love what you do and then the rest will fall into place naturally. I think if you just go searching for a journalism job that pays really well, it won't work out as much unless you have true passion.
