How are journalism career outlooks in Canada?

I am looking to go to college in Canada to major in journalism/mass communication and I would love to become a sports journalists. I was just wondering what the career outlooks for journalists were in Canada?

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

Just like everywhere, the Internet is putting Journalists out of work and Newspapers out of business! Have you not noticed that there is almost NO credible journalism in the world today? The reason is that research costs money but BS sells anyway. Journalism = Not a Good Move!

Answer 2

You asked the SAME question a few days ago. Didn't you LIKE the answers that time ? Asking the same question, today, will probably NOT get you the answer that you want to read . Face it, the employment future in "journalism " is bleak, at best. Go ahead and waste years and money, only to find that you can't get a job . Jim B. Toronto.
