Do ya think foreigner form non-English country can have a good journalism career in Sydney?

What university you would like to recommend for Media&Journalism Major?

All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

Only if you can read and speak fluent English then any university could teach you.

Answer 2

What is your native language? Do you understand that your command of English has to be as good as a native Australian (both verbally and orally) to be able to become a journalist? While I have never lived or studied in an English speaking country, let me tell you that in times I had such a great interest in the English language, that it was my wish to become as fluent as a native speaker, and even to know all the words in English (now I know that the English language is far more extensive than I thought, and even Shakespeare just knew a fraction of those). However, while I can manage to carry on a conversation in any subject, I by no means speak English to native standards, despite all my efforts... I can't say all the time whether the way someone speaks is correct or not (as I am in my native language), and I come across new words and expressions in English regularly whenever I have contact with the language (while in my native language, that almost just happens a couple of times when I read a book)... My English is not even absolutely flawless.... I can't help making a mistake once in a while either... I don't have a high accent, and I can be mistaken for a native for a while by English native speakers, and all the time by non-native speakers, but my pronounciation is not perfect either. And I've been learning English for nearly 15 years... But by being immersed in an English-speaking environment you will surely go further than this. Anyway, I wish you luck.
