All Answers To Questions

Answer 1

I worked for a newspaper and in radio journalism while doing my university degree and basically, there's not much money in it at all until you get to national newspaper level. I also found it rather depressing in a way that they are the reporters of other people's deeds rather than the doer of the deeds themselves. I'd rather be the one making the news than reporting it.

Answer 2

it all depends on whether or not you want journalism as in newspapers or TV

Answer 3

Positive Aspects - always meeting new people, not stuck behind a desk Personality Traits needed - inquisitive, out going, not shy, hard working Education required - starting out, not much, if you want to move up atleast a two year, I recomend 4 yr Special training - learn on your first job Skills Needed - writing, logic, Job Outlook (where, how many) - every where and lots, almost every TV station and newspaper in the country have some Typical Salary - starting out 15,000 Negative Aspects - not glamours, not easy, no one does the work for you Something interesting about the journalism career - most TV anchors don't report anymore, they just read

Answer 4

Positive Aspects (Specail invites to media day) Personality Traits needed (Thick skinned, fast thinker) Education required (none, to 4 year) Special training (Learn on the job) Skills Needed (Know how to write, shoot, light, edit) Job Outlook (Anywhere that has a TV station or newspaper) Typical Salary (Crap. Starting pay for a reporter is typicaly $15,000/yr) Negative Aspects (WOrk nights, weekends, very early mornings, graveyards, holidays. Don't even think of vacations in May, November, or Feburaruy. This includes Weddings too) Something interesting about the journalism career. (Every day is different)
